Step IV - Material Parameters Results

After the calculation is finished, the resulting material parameters are displayed. The dispersion characteristics of the liquid crystal which was analyzed are nicely reproduced with high accuracy.

The right hand graph shows the Quasi space peak value for different thickness. At the minimum of the V-like curve lies the correct sample thickness at which the Fabry Perot oszillations on the frequency domain material parameters are minimized. Optionally, error bars can be displayed by marking the corresponding checkbox. As a final step, the complete dataset can be saved as a comma separated ASCII file (.csv) or as Matlab® file (.mat).
